Hi! I'm Barratt (rhymes with carrot).
I'm the youth services librarian at the Oregon City Public Library in (you guessed it!) Oregon City, Oregon.
I've been in OC since January 2016. Before that, I wore many hats--including that of Assistant Director--at Crook County Library in Prineville, Oregon from July 2012 to January 2016. Other professional hats I used to wear: Chair of the Children's Services Division of the Oregon Library Association (2015-16), Oregon Young Adult Network Publications Manager (2013-14), and Horn Book Guide reviewer (2011-2016). As a graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (MSLIS 2012), I worked in the Education & Social Science Library (now the Social Science, Health, & Education Library) and put in hundreds of volunteer hours at The Urbana Free Library. If you happen to run into me at a library-related party, I will talk your ear off about using music in storytime and forming amazing community partnerships, |
